More senior hires join Blue Ocean Reinsurance Group

Blue Ocean Reinsurance Group is delighted to announce two new appointments to our team: Apsara De Silva and Dilukshika Fernando, who will join the Sri Lanka based governance, risk and compliance team.

De Silva, an accomplished Senior Legal Counsel, has spent the majority of her career in the Middle East, holding positions at the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority, AIG and other prestigious organisations. Her experience spans corporate and commercial matters across a range of industries including insurance, employment, regulatory and energy.

Fernando is a multi qualified Chartered Insurer with deep expertise in life operations including underwriting, claims, servicing, group life, customer service, reinsurance, risk management, complaint management and product developments. She started her career with a Big-4 firm in Sri Lanka, and has since progressed her career through senior positions in other global insurance giants.
